The price is so high due to one factor: Supply and demand. When production is low and off season, the price of durians are very high. It is something that we cannot control. At Bloopydurians we not only provide you the experience to eat durians, but we also provide you with the experience of entering and touring a durian farm. We are unable to lower the price as we would not be able to make a profit. If you want to eat durians at a cheaper price we suggest waiting for the biggest season where the market is flooded with supply.
  • What Grade Of Musang King Durian Will I Eat?
Due to the affordable price, you may be wondering what type of Musang King grade durian will you eat. Grade B Musang King durians can go as high as RM 60 per kg. I will be honest with you and tell you that I will be serving you grade CC durians which are much more affordable in price. While it may sound terrible like the grade of a report card, the "real truth" is that the grade CC mao shan wang often tastes better than the grade A or grade B. If there are no supply of grade CC durians, I will be serving you grade C durians. This is due to the supply and demand chain of Musang King production as weather plays a big part. This article How To Choose The Best Musang King will explain why a grade CC is better than the higher grades. Pay attention to point no. 4
  • I Am Bringing A VIP / Boss / Management / Dato / Datin / Tan Sri To Eat At Your Farm, Can You Give Me Bigger Better Looking Musang King Durians So That They Will Be Impressed?
Yes we can cater to that specific need. The musang king durian that we offer for the price charged is Grade CC musang king durian. Smaller does not mean it taste worst. They will be charged according to the market price when you come to visit my farm.

Yes, the customer is always my number #1 priority and your needs can be taken care of. For the customer who is not price conscious, I can arrange for a sole Musang King durian experience. Prices will start at RM 250 per person and you will be given at least 13 pulps to eat. For other arrangements please whatsapp or contact me at 017-9250613 to discuss the details. My name is Stephen Loke.

  • Can I Buy And Order Musang King Back For My Family And Friends?
Yes you can bring back MSK durians for your family and friends. This is treated as a separate new order. Once you have eaten the durians, you might want to buy some durians back home. There will not be enough stock for you to buy home. So you will need to tell me one day in advance if you want to buy durians back home. From my experience, one person can tapau back 5kg or 2-3 durians back home for their family. That amount is good enough. But if you want to order more for neighbours, relatives and friends, you can order more quantity. I have people that order 20kg of durians to give to friends. Just let me know and I will help you to arrange for it. I recommend that you bring back grade B or grade C musang king whole fruit for your family and friends. Grade B is big and round enough with enough pulps. It looks good as a gift for your family and friends. If you are price conscious, you might want to opt for the grade C. You can opt for the more economical musang king pulp in a box. We are able to do it at a cheaper price because we take the pulps from Grade CC MSK or Cai grade MSK. Cai grade MSK are those that may have some hole because it is eaten by a squirrel. While it looks bad, the truth is that the pulps in that durian may taste the best because the squirrel or tupai only looks for the tasiest fruit to eat.
  • What Kind Of Durians Do I Get To Eat At The Farm?
Although I have many types of durians, I cannot guarantee you that you will be able to get those because the tree may not bear fruit at the time of your visit. However, there will always be Musang King, D24 and Kampung Durians to eat at the farm. Other types of durians that you may get to eat depending on availability are D2, Chanee, Kan Yao, Borneo Species, 88, Perak Champion and Bentong King. We do not have Tekka or Red Prawn. We also do not supply Black Thorn. Black Thorn is very expensive and is not included in the price. Anyway, it is not advisable to eat Bentong Black Thorn as the trees are still very young in this area.

  • What Happens If There Is A Heavy Rain?
It can get quite wet during rainy days. If there is heavy rain, I suggest that we wait for the rain to get smaller first. Since there is a farm house and shelter there, you can still enjoy eating durians while watching rain drops falling on durian trees and durian fruits. Eating durians while listening to the rain and having the wind blow on your face is the kind of experience that city dwellers do not experience. This is your chance to experience it once in your life.
  • Are There A Lot Of Mosquitos Or Wild Animals There?
Being a "real" durian farm, there will of course be mosquitos. A durian farm that has no mosquito will have just been sprayed with a large amount of insecticide. I will provide you with mosquito coils which will help to fend off mosquitos. There is less mosquitos at the farm house but if you choose to do a farm tour and walk with me around the farm, you will need to use a mosquito coil. It also helps to spray some mosquito repellent on yourself. There are no wild animals there as we have workers staying there. The durian farm is also gated and fenced. So you need not worry about wild animals.
  • I Am Scared Of Pesticide And Poison. Do You Spray Your Durian Farm Before I Enter?
Whenever there is a booking I will not allow my worker to spray any pesticide, fungicide or insecticide 3 days before your trip. This is so that the poison will not affect your health. The poison and toxic usually goes away within 48 hours of spraying. So it is safe for you to enter the farm. I also do not spray as much pesticide compared to other farms. Nowadays I only spray once a month.
  • Is There A Minimum Number Of Person?
Yes, due to the cost and time, I do require a minimum of 5 people for the eat durians at farm tour. Just gather a few friends and come in a car. Eating durians with a few friends is more enjoyable than eating alone. However I do understand the need for a more private tour. At our farm we do serve VIP and if there is only 2-3 people please contact me for more information. We offer a specially catered experience to the VIP who has special wishes.
  • If The Durians That I Eat Are Hard And Not Satisfactory Is There A Discount Or Replacement?
Yes, we will do our best to make you a satisfied customer. Early season fruit and end of season fruit are notorious for defects. Therefore we hope that you will understand that fruits will not be 100% perfect. Kampung durians can be unpredictable and sometimes you may get a very nice kampung durian. Sometimes the kampung durian may not taste that good and are slightly hard. With regards to the D24, they are famous for having batches that are hard. This is due to its sensitivity towards chemical fertilizers. But we will try our best to give you soft and creamy ones. With regards to the Musang King we will also give you soft and creamy ones. There will be no full refund but if you are not satisfied with the durians just let me know and I will give you a discount. For example if you ordered 2kg of Musang King and it has 10 pulps, and 2 pulps have defect, we will discount 20% of the price. My motto is "Underpromise and overdeliver" and I hope that you will be satisfied with your durian eating experience at Bloopydurians farms.
  • When Is The Best Time I Can Get Cheap Musang King Durians For RM 20 per kg?
Yes there are times when the price of Musang king durians can go as low as RM 20, RM 18 or even RM 15. That is the price of a grade CC Musang King durian. When the supply is high and there is an abundant harvest of Musang King, the prices will be very low. That is also when we can serve you at our stall outside the farm at the main road. There you do not need to go into the farm. Sometimes you can get Musang King for as low as RM 20 per kg. But that will be in the biggest season where there is plenty of supply of durian.
